I cannot believe that such a sweet sheep could turn out so out of the flock. However, she was supporting for the little guys. Awesome work, Artbirchly.

So sick of those lame, moronic Hitler and Trump comparisons happening lately with Bellwether, because she is nothing close to those guys one bit. I'd rather use fictional villain comparisons that real life figures that are so overrated and grinds my gears.

Anyways, I love the villainous appearance of Bellwether done here. The moment I first saw her, I just love the character that I created my own kind of fandom for her, not even knowing why I did. It just happened. She's still not as conniving, evil, or tyrannical like Fire Lord Ozai and Kuvira were in their plans for world domination. But I still love her. Now for some reason the songs "Tonight We Strike", "Outta the Way" and "Panic & Run" are playing in my head as I look at this image.

Her personality is not similar to Trump's but of course they both seize power by playing on easy prejudices and false fears. I don't think it's terrible for people to make the comparison, even if I would much rather see of them on TV than the other...

She's got nothing in common with the guy, not to mention I find it sickening for anyone to ever pair her with him, a man that married and divorced three times, goes against the laws of nature.  The comparison is still overrated, terrible, and irritating to me. I still believe Bellwether had more than one reason behind her actions, but Hitler and Trump do everything all for the sake of power and nothing more. I'd rather use other fictional villain comparisons instead of real life figures that some people just can't keep silent about.

It's great that you're sympathetic to her and you should believe whatever you like about her motivations, but you can probably understand why some people see her more simplistically.

"So that's it? Prey fears predator and you stay in power?" "Yeah, pretty much.... fear always works."

I mean that's some cold-blooded talk. Whatever happened to get her to that point, in that moment power is exactly what she wants. She has a reason to desire it, but I suppose everyone does. Soothing Trump's constantly aching ego is all that seems to matter to him. Bellwether's no egomaniac, but she does seem to feel seriously persecuted and inadequate. I'm sure she imagines all prey feel the same, and she may rationalize her actions any way she likes. But when she puts her scheme into motion she is every bit the predator she claims to fear and despise, and she loves it. That's the poisonous pull of power.

I guess we can never know with any certainty the true inner life of liars and schemers. What we experience much more acutely is the effects of their actions, and Bellwether and Trump (I'll leave Hitler out of this) hurt people in eerily similar ways. It's OK to grapple with that, especially since one of them is very real and is hurting real people.

You also don't have to grapple with it at all if you want. But you did bring it up  :P

Yeah, well I'm just tired of always hearing about politics everywhere on every fandom, depending on which fandom I want to visit away from political discussions as I usually don't like getting into them too often. But when I do, it's for a good reason.

Instead of bringing up Hitler or Trump, I would prefer saying that in my point of view, Bellwether is like a mixture of Princess Azula, Chirin, Two Face, Agatha Prenderghast, and Baby Doll. Azula used fear to control those around her, even her close friends Mai and Ty Lee, believing fear is the only reliable way to live through it all, so imagine her saying fear always works, which I'm sure she would agree to. Chirin was the very first cartoon lamb to be a "wolf in sheep's clothing" way before Bellwether, who like her becomes the very thing he wishes to destroy for taking away his mother. Agatha was the victim of complete ignorance by folks who feared what they did not understand and drove her to curse them for everything, resulting in hatred, anger, and vengeance upon society that turned her into a lonely outcast. Baby Doll faced discrimination and denied all the needs that only would be possible for a grown woman to want in life no thanks to her condition that keeps her trapped in a child's body, resulting in her wanting to run away into fantasy where everything is just as she dreamed it would be, free from everything she endured in all her life. For Bellwether, some part of me wants to believe or see her as just evil for the sake of it which would be easier, but from the little clues I gathered and the unanswered questions happening off screen after the conference meeting, something just tells me she's hiding other things she's not telling anyone, too lost in her own dark world to see what she's is becoming and forgot who she used to be before being assistant mayor. It's possible she was once a victim of prejudice and brutal bullying herself for such a long time, she felt at the mercy of the world and fantasized one day that there will come a time where prey like her will never live in fear of predators again, like she did, but becomes a warped kind of fantasy that goes too far.

But honestly, Trump is the real monster and liar, yet people still voted for him? I see no real comparisons to make, except maybe one or two, but I still think it is shallow and stupid, even pairing her with him that I find gross and unnatural. :bleh: I doubt she'd be dumb enough to fall for him. The guy is already married and has his own family.

By the way, forgot to mention that I never said Divorce goes against the laws of nature, I mean shipping Bellwether with Trump goes against the laws of nature, she's a sheep, and he is human; a married man already. It would never work out.

Of course it's unpleasant. Trump is a man married and divorced three times and is already in his third marriage with his own "human" family. Totally goes against the laws of nature. :bleh:

Uh oh, she's gone pred  XD
If/when they do a sequel I kind of hope we don't see her again, she doesn't need a Lecter-like overexposure. I see Bellwether as a symptom of a prejudiced society, not the root of it.

If she would appear again, I would like some kind of fun done with her that is connected to her time in prison. She's pretty manipulative and diabolical, so I either see her trying playing it like a Lecter-like individual and try and plead insanity, or she's been hitting those weights, being considerably more musclebound since last time we saw her. To be honest, I think she's more like Lex Luthor than Hannibal.
